It works, I have the JET T/B Spacer on my GT. You will notice a little more power, no more throttle lag with the electronic T/B and of course, Increase in gas Mileage!!

Sorry but a TBS on a GT does not automatically mean you will see any gain on a V6... especially if you've already gotten rid of the stock airbox and tube...

With the C&L and good tune my throttle lag has disappeared...

I'm not buying into this one until some one can show me back to back runs on the dyno.. from an independent shop... not from the company (in this case MMR)... And when I say back to back I mean dyno run stock, add TBS, dyno run again... LOL

I'm very skeptical regarding this as well. Independent dyno results needed imho too.

The TBS is worthless for the GT and its worthless for the V6.

There are a few threads in the V8 section of guys who bought the hype and got them for their GTs but are now that they realize theyre bs.

Stuff along the lines of: "wanna buy a frisbee? Im getting rid of my worthless 'throttle body spacer'"

No offense Paul, but any difference you feel is merely the "I payed $150 for a part, so it must work" placebo affect.

His results are going to be hard to really figure out, as he switched to Royal Purple in the engine and the tranny since his last dyno run, and even if he shows a gain, how do you determine how much is the spacer and how much the RP?

He uses Lidio... I asked the original poster to make a run without the TBS and then make one with the TBS... without removing the car from the dyno... since even moving the car on the dyno can cause a change... we'll have to wait and see...

Hey tony, nice to see ya in the v6 forum. We should meet up at firebird one of these days.

14.73 with just an intake and canned tune (not even designed for the intake). Hopin after detroit TT, gears, custom tune, exhaust, new tires/rims, and any other boltons i can get there

Oh, and i have the PHP pulley.

I like the airaid tb spacer too, if the mmr one does show an increase on the dyno, it will be a touch decision.

any price on the airaid?

I've seen 'em for around $70.... I emailed Airaid tonight asking if they're going to make one for our 4.0L's. I'll post when I get a response.

I looked around a lot after posting this another time. From my research, which was all on-line, so take it for what it is worth, a TBS works best on a carbureted engine. The extra little spin an AIRAID TBS could give us would be less than the Turbonator, and I don't see anyone running out for one of those. Perhaps when all other NA options have been exhausted, including pulleys, I will throw one on for a laugh. Who knows, it might actually work, but I haven't seen any good science behind the claimed gains, especially in the MMR one, which is smooth.
