I am putting my duals on in the next 2 weeks, and just got to wandering today. Im not sure what to expect yet, besides very loud noises.

So, for those of you who have already put duals on, what did you put on? And what gains did you see (on a dyno) or feel.

 

Hey man, I put Magnaflow Cat Back Duals on about 3 weeks ago. Our cars don't need dual exhausts therefore for many it's just a cosmetic mod with better sound. I may be crazy but I think that the car runs better since I've put the duals on. I'm not sure if this helps but it's just my 2 cents. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

 

I put true duels on w/ GT take off's. Car has a better sound but not overly loud. I feel a slight increase in power.

 

When I put my duals on it felt like the car was alot more responsive than it was before.. like it cleared up some of the throttle lag or something, but that may just been my imagination. I think i remember someone else mentioning this as well though. I was definitely sitting above where I should be with my duals on the dyno, so Im pretty sure there's a power gain that comes with them. You can pull up my old dynos around here if you wanna check them.

 

I have GT takeoffs. Great sound, but not abusive to the ear on the highway.

I can't say the same for the MAC Duals I had on there first. Monster droning with those.

 

i also have the gt take offs and true duals. the sound is just enough and i feal that with the CAI & duals installed the car runs much better

 

I put on the complete duels using a Magnaflow system. The sound was too intense (ricy) for me, so added an H pipe, could tell a slight easing of the 'ricy' sound but still too intense. So just pulled the magnaflow mufflers and put on GT take offs. Mo Betta now !! Thats Hawaiian for "more better". Magnaflow mufflers will show up on Ebay when I get back to the mainland around the 15th of Jan. If anyones interested. In addition when I return, the C& L and Sct-2 set up will be waiting for me.
