1.) So, if I buy the following, and take them to a shop, they should be able to install it fine?
- GT driver side exhaust pipe
- GT cat-back exhaust
- X Pipe / H pipe
- GT Exhaust Hangers

2.) Which is most likely better for the V6 a H pipe, or a X pipe?

1) Yes

2) That's one debate that never seems to end Either will work. X is supposed to flow a bit better, H generally has a more traditional sound. My take would be go with the H, as the duals will flow PLENTY for a normally aspirated V6 anyway. If you're thinking of a turbo or supercharger down the road, then maybe the X might be the way to go.

There is no going wrong on the V6 with H or X pipe. The sound is arguably better sounding with an H pipe though.

*note* you ideally want 1-1.5 PSI of backpressure. Not much less that 1, and no more than 1.5 (measured at idle)
Has anyone tested this btw to end the discussion. It would be nice to see how much there still is with an H or X pipe setup @ 2 1/2"
