Do you turn off overdrive in the city?

My pedal is always to the floor, so I average about 12-13 mpg.

Overall I average about 21.5. My highest mileage was on highway where I kept it at 70 and I got 25.5 MPG. Lowest in city was 18.8 MPG.

My v6 5spd got me 22-24mpg with my 5spd, but that includes some pedal slamming and other 1800rpm shifts, haha.

I get 21 to 22 MPG with about a 50/50 mix of city and highway driving. That is with me being watchful of my driving. If I don't, and I drive with no regard for gas mileage, I get about 19-20 MPG.

In my GT (manual), I have been babying it since my fill-up 4 days ago. My regular routine is street and a little highway driving (about 15 Hwy miles) each day. I have let it loose about 4 times, but not through all gears. I have been right at 19.2 MPG and it sometimes sees 19.3 and 19.1, but creeps back to 19.2. Thats pretty good in my openion, but I am getting into 5th sooner than needed and just trying to get the best mileage I can. I'm not driving like a granny, but not racing eithor. A few weeks ago, I was averaging about 12 - 15MPG because I took my mufflers off and COULD NOT stay off the throttle!

Ya, my car is broke. The darn pedal only has two positions on my car all the way down or all the way up. It was 15 to 16 before I put headers and dual exhaust, but now it is 18 to 19...around town with my broken pedal, lol. )
