How or what did you guys use to bend the "arms or stays" that the the mounts connect to? You know, so that the exhaust tip won't touch the bumper and melt it. Thanks

Mine fit with no alteration at all. I have over 1/4 inch all around and installed mine in March with no ill effects.

Lucas - they sound great compared to the stock V6 muffler. We've done the dual conversion with the Bassanni x-pipe for our crossover and this is one sweet setup. Best bang for the buck so far...

When I installed it, there was less than a 1/4 inch between the tip and the cover. It almost touched. I just don't want to melt the bumper with my hot-rod GT muffler on my bad-boy V6.

Leo - If you can fit your pinky around the tailpipe and the facia, you're good to go...

I've read on one of these Mustang boards, that you can bend the rod [ever-so-slightly] using a piece of pipe. Take your time and do the adjustments in small increments. Good luck...
