the big things that I know, that you should be aware of:
1) long tube headers may cause trouble with passing emissions inspection -- if you are located in a place where they are sticky about this, look into it before going ahead
2) quality and price points on headers vary widely; for example Kooks are generally some of the best and most expensive, Pypes are some of the cheapest . . . so if you were comparing Kooks from AM to Pypes from Summit, that would explain the big difference

hopefully someone else with more specific experience with S550 headers will chime in with more specifics, I am speaking from general knowledge of earlier Mustangs

Are JBA long tubes any good, anyone run them, or have any experience with the quality. Pros and cons? -- 2017 mustang gt

I have them on my 06, they're fine. They're ceramic coated, but the coating is starting to flake off after 4 years. I'm told most do that unless you get them coated by Jet Hot. Some people arent fans of JBA but I think they're fine.
