Hey guys! First of all my very first time posting for help! Wanted to get help on how to fix this problem. I have an automatic transmission 1995 mustang GT Convertible and it drives perfect in drive, parks perfectly, and neutral is fine as well. the only problem is Reverse. When I put it in reverse it goes into gear but does not move. I have to go up to 2,000RPM for it to jerk a bit back, any clues to what I can do to solve this problem?

That'll likely be one of two things, and you hope it's the first... and it's probably likely too:

Automatic Transmission Fluid issue. Aka, it's low. Add some fluid. It may also be old, and you need to swap it out. I don't recommend a flush, just have it changed. You also might go find a bottle of this:
To replace one of the quarts. Used to use it in the ol' 66 Thunderbird or other tired transmissioned car to perk it up. If you just want to add it to the current stuff, drain the same amount out before putting in, unless you're already low enough of course. Then you'd just add it to replace. Either way, this stuff will stop the slips and seal the small leaks, help seals, that sort of thing. It's good stuff.

If that/those don't fix the problem, then you've got an internal transmission issue and you'll be taking it to a shop to fix it.
