PNW - new dude...

Nice to find this site. I have learned a lot as a lurker here.

So new to the Mustang community, but not to cars.My last sporty car was a 330, and C4. Both modded and track prepped. Also built several Jeeps and full-size trucks.

Anyway, totally liking the Mustang scene. Lots of knowledge in the community. Lots of smart people. And parts are easy to come by.

Just picked up a clean 2012 Brembo. And in process of setting it up for track day and auto-x duty. Car is great.

I've already ripped the suspension out and replaced it with Bilstein struts/shocks, and some P coils. Adjustable panhard goes in next week.

Still struggling with wheel sizing, so I'll see you all over in that section. Car is a base model, so it needs a new steering wheel and the seats redone.

Welcome to TMS! Congrats on the new car. Post some Pictures! Love to see it.

You will see a lot on here with 19's and 20's. Mine has the Hyper Black Roush 20's with 275/35R20 Cooper RS3-S tires all around. These Coopers are the Roush blessed tires for the S197 builds. Really a great tire for the price. Look around the site and find a look you like. Hit up the member for info on the ones you like. There are lots of choices out there.

Unless you are planning on a rip and replace, look around for skins for your cloth seats. You can find good leather skins on e-Bay and else where once in a while. Not nearly as often as when this model was in production, but they are still there.

Or just visit you friendly online retailer for upgraded racing style seats.

Congrats on the new ride.

Don't let anybody tell you that you can't put 18's on a Brembo car ... I have a '13 Track Pack (same brakes as the Brembo Pack cars) and I'm running 18x9.5 GT500 wheels with 285/40 fronts and 305/40 rears (soon to be 285/40's for a better fit).

If you have any wheel or tire question go ahead and ask.
