BBK 1 7/8 Longtube Headers

Does anyone have these bbk Longtube headers? Are they any good as they seem to be considerably less expensive than the Kooks.

Also what is actually involved with installing headers?

A lot of reviews on various brands seem to say the install involved removing various components.

BBK are mild steel, so corrosion is a possibility. That's why they're cheaper. Installing headers is a huge PITA on these cars, unless you are a really capable gear head you should probably find a shop IMO.

I have a v6 and if Kooks were offered, I would have gone with them. You get what you pay for. Here are my BBK Ceramic coated long tube headers on my v6 https://themustangsource.com/forums/...1&d=1508405426

Still liking my stainless BBK headers after at least 7 years. No complaints.

I'm surprised how they look being ceramic coated. Your going to need new headers in a couple of years. Do the top of the headers look the same?

They look pretty good on the top part of the headers. I 'think' I had around 10,000 miles when I installed the headers, so this was done in 18,000 miles . I don't drive my Mustang in snow but we don't get very much in Tennessee. I agree with you, I think they will burn through in a couple years
