Official Introduction
Official Introduction
Hey everyone,
I'll only keep you for a second. I just wanted to officially introduce myself and my company as a Supporting Vendor here on TheMustangSource.com. I'll keep it brief and to the point.
My name is Sam Strano. I own Strano Performance Parts in Brookville Pennsylvania. I currently have a 2011 5.0 w/Brembo's. I previously owned a 2007 GT. I've driven a 2007 Shelby GT for 3.5 years for SCCA Solo Events, and my girlfriend had a 2007 V-6 as well.
I'm a 13 time SCCA National Champion. All in Pony-cars of some sort (I also have a Camaro---don't be upset).
The last 7 titles have been in Fords....
I sell performance parts, and have a background you won't find other places. I make these things turn, and have a track record doing so. I also tell it like it is because as much as I'm here to make a living, I'm also a car-guy and have myself been railroaded into certain parts I didn't need or that were not helpful to my end goal. I figure it this way: If you are happy with my work, even if it means I sold you less than you might have been looking for--you're more likely to be a return customer and that's better in the long run for both of us.
I carry a large variety of products. In fact I have more different suspension parts than most of the big players. When I recommend something it's not because I can't sell you something else. That's not always the case other places--often you are told what they have to sell. I like to give options, even if all the options aren't what I might use, I like to give you the choice. But I'm here to talk and answer questions. I do make a few of my own parts when I feel I can do a better job. For instance I have my own Sway Bars made for S197's that are both adjustable and hollow. I'm a Steeda and MM dealer, I sell Tokico, Koni, Eibach, KW, AST, Bilstein dampers. I have Strano bars, Hotchkis, Eibach, Steeda too. I pretty much stick with undercar hard parts.
If it's a shock, strut, spring, swaybar, Subframe connector, differential, camber plate, brake parts, or exhaust, I can help. I do carry other things like the entire Steeda catalog, intakes, tuners of various brands, etc.
I'm a *very* small company--It's pretty much just me. I do my best to keep up with my website (and you can order directly from the website). *BUT* if you don't see something please call me!!!!!!
Thank you for taking the time the read. I look forward to helping you guys and gals out.

My current ride can be seen here: http://www.stranoparts.com/searchbymodel.php?ModelID=35
I'll work on some better pics as time goes on.
I can vouch for Sam. The man definitely knows how to make a 'Stang handle as well as anything out there. It's just too bad I couldn't transfer my 2007's aftermarket suspension components to my 2011.
Thanks Brandon... . Why couldn't you? Did they want the old car as it was?????
I know I've talked to people I don't actually know.
I also tend to hang around forums to see what their like before I plop money down to support them. Some are real pains in the butt....
Yeah, the dealership wanted the car as-is and didn't want to fool with swapping suspensions. It's too bad as I had just installed all that stuff back in February. It's okay, though; I'll be giving you a call in a couple weeks when I get back from vacation. Oh, and I do still have the OEM strut mounts from my 2007 GT.
Sam, I bought my suspension from you. I mostly hang out on MF, but this is the place for Boss news! Anyhoo, I've heard conflicting reports, will the Koni/Steeda stuff transfer to the '11? I know it's a bit heavier with the 5.0.
It'll transfer. The only real difference with the 2011 is the OEM Factory Strut Mounts. Even if you stay with those, you can use "older" '05-10 struts but you do need some spacers (which is an easy, easy thing to accomplish) and they'll work perfectly fine.
