Show us your damaged stangs!
In light of some of the posts going around (and some members giving people a hard time about damaging their cars), I thought it would be interesting to see what sort of damage we have experienced with our S197's. Here is a pick of my car at the body shop just after sanding down and prepping areas that were damaged from road debris.

BMR LCA disintegrated bushings:
Cobble stone curb, one stone broken and angled out at 45 degree angle.. so parking 2 inches from normal curb means I hit the broken stone and tear my sidewall.. reason I am not currently driving it

Well BMR claims they received a bad batch from Prothane, quite a few people have destroyed them.. but others have done 100 passes at the track with no issue. I guess just keep a close eye on them, and I mean REALLY look. I thought my passenger side was shot but drivers was ok, but when I got the drivers side out, that was actually the worst bushing. In pic above, left row is body side/right is axle. Front set is driver side, back set is passenger.
Heres a BMR thread on another forum

That was my only consolation after that crash. I needed something to laugh about desperately, and when I realized I had done what detective Frank Bullitt did to his GT390 I burst out laughing

You guys will have to excuse some of the mods around this place. Apparently not only can they not read that this was for the S197's but also didn't see it was in the 2005+ section. It's ok though, I am sure they would have figure it out sooner or later, well Arin might not...hahahahahahaha. So in that case I will make this an all around Mustang thread.

I had something fly up off the road, I never saw anything just heard a loud bang. The pictures show the scratch but not the dent. The car has been back to the body shop 3 times and it's still not right.

Well, it was listed in the latest topic thread so I didn't pay attention to what section, now if you had listed it as "Show us your damaged S197 stangs" then it would have eliminated any confusion.....perhaps you should not be discriminatory in your desire for pictures
