My guess is you're probably nearing the 200k cost when it's all said and done...

Just to clarify, if it had been based off the GT500, the cost would be even higher... When you factor in the base price for the GT500 plus ADMs, then ship it off to Shelby American for the SS conversion...

There are those that would pay that much for a SAI modded GT, & those that wouldn't..

Well, I'm not one of those who would pay that much for a SAI MODDED GT... For those who would, that it is their choice... Personally, in my honest opinion, when a vehicle costs more money than purchasing an average house, that's where I draw the line!!

Just a follow up regarding the new S650 Super Snake R... According to the following video link attachment, prices start at $224,995... This in my honest opinion is totally outrageous for a SAI modded GT

Everything is crazy. I just wonder how many out there are actually able and willing to pay that much for a toy? The price tag on a super modified Mustang or even a GTD have to be someone with some crazy money. But I love to see them and what people are doing to make them faster and meaner.

It's especially crazy when knowing that most of the mod upgrades are Ford Performance Parts which anybody can purchase to modify their Mustangs for far less than paying $224,995 for a modded SI Mustang GT with the Shelby nameplate attached to it... Personally, I could care less if Shelby American performed the mod upgrades, however, any other performance shop could install those very same mod upgrades for far less than what Shelby American is charging at the outrageous cost of $224,995...
