Bought a 83GT in 84 and raced it until 97 when life hit. Kids are now gone and while I bracket raced escorts/focuses and f150's, I decided to get the mustang back on the track. Half way through the build I decided to convert it to a class legal stocker. Since 80-86 mustangs SUCK in the NHRA guide (over rated for hp) I got a 79 for the nose etc and decided to convert to a 79 302 2bbl U/SA. (or T/SA if I take weight out)

Anyway, here's the story so far.....
