That's awesome! Especially when Ford is like "Hey we need to have a word".
One of these days I'll get another S-197 since I miss my 09 GT500 (it was a turd in the corners and I could never really get it to handle like I wanted but that car was an absolute missile!) and next to the GT350s my 07 GT after the FRPP suspension swap and summer tires were the third best handling Mustang I've ever owned and oddly enough I find the S-197 cars more comfortable than the S550. I also keep thinking about a Godzilla-swapped S-197 since it offers a good compromise between the heavy-as-hell engine in the GT500 and the lightweight 4.6 3v and it makes good power and has gobs under the curve.

WOW! I hadn't realized it's been 20 years since I bought my first Mustang! I joined the day I put my order in for an 05 GT and kept it for 14 years. I traded it in with less than 95k miles for a 2019 GT but got rid of that for a Jeep Gladiator. I regretted it ever since so I'm ordering a 2024 GT and keeping it til I die!

2007 is when I got my 2007 GT. I sold it in 2010 because of kids. It was my 4th Mustang. Now I have a 2022 GT and the Springtime Yellow 1965. Here are my 5! I'm glad to see The Mustang Source still around!
it has been a while since i posted. i did sell the 2015 back in May 2023 and found out that the guy who bought it totaled it a month later....unfortunate for him....was a freak accident.
no show boating or anything just wrong place wrong time....
i still have the 2012 boss and the 66, but i have no time now to drive them too much... im so busy with the kids and family stuff that i dont go anywhere.
i would love to get another mustang (not Gen 7) but at this point it would not be practical or make sense with the family dynamic....
and next chance i could get another mustang i might be in a nursing home....so
thanks again for your website to keep me "in tune" with all things mustang!
