I am not generally inclined to name cars, but my 1 st. wife and our middle daughter often did. I have called cars a few names, usually when I was underneath one working on something and had something fall in my eye or hit me in the face. Busted knuckles from a wrench that slipped works too. If I were inclined to name my Ingot Silver '14 GT my user name on this site would work ie. Silver Bullet.

I was listening to a Kingston Trio album while wondering what to name my 2014 convertible when 'The Call The Wind Maria' came on. I immediately thought yeah, top down, wind in your hair - MARIA!

Or Your Plate! My First S197 Was Cult Gt As Per Plate I Guess That Was Her Name. I Always Get Personalized Plates So That Kind of Rubs Off As Name. Next Was 07 GT/CS and My Shelby GT500 KC. All My Cars if I'm Talking To Them is Betsy~ Cmon Betsy Start Etc.! Mgb, Kc |
I didn't actually have a name until Kevin and myself discussed it recently from a couple days ago and we agreed upon "Flash" as a good name lol.

I also never really gave any of my cars a name either... I would always just refer to them as Mustangs, until I finally decided to come up with some for my avatar here on TMS...
With Kevin's (KC) suggestions, we first came up with "RedFlash" and then updated to "Supercharged, Red Rocket" Anyhow, I like both and have stuck with "Supercharged, Red Rocket" ever since... :yup: |
