Need Help Locating 1971 Mustang Power Trunk Latch
 

Does anybody know where i can find an oem power trunk latch for a 1971 mustang? I found one on ebay that has been sold but nothing on mustang remanufacture sites

If anybody can provide a part number or a resource for me to get a part number it would be greatly apperciated

Retro-fitted a mid-90's latch with built in solenoid, extended the cable that was the key lock to a knob at the dash to have a mechanical backup in the event of solenoid failure.

Retro-fitted a mid-90's mustang latch with built-in solenoid. Used catch out of a small sedan... A little junk yard hunt... Extended the cable originally for the key to the dash with a universal pull cable from advanced auto parts for a mechanical backup incase of solenoid failure.

Just got to trim the bolts and when i finish the trunk ill pretty it up, put the latch on the car and catch on the trunk, goin to cover the key hole for a smooth rear end
