Thanks. What is detail spray? I love going out of town now. It's 60 to 70 miles for our trips. Love seeing the 75mph sign. Is it just me or does it seem like they run even better when clean? lol. Drove to the store today. Coming home I just wanted to head out of town for a cruise. May do that tomorrow

It's just the Meguiars detail spray, you can buy it at Wal-Mart. It is designed to be used between waxing. I also use it to clean bugs off or bird crap. You mist it on and buff it off.

Took her to chilis the other night, and I've been really enjoying driving her with the 18's back on instead of 20's. I think she sparkles a little more too :D

In other news, I found some unexpected cash cleaning house today, so it may have some eibachs under it soon. Finally.

Ah. I do need something for the bugs.

My daughter and I went out for a joy ride yesterday. I live on a highway just where the speed limit hits 55. It being Sunday traffic was low so I thought I would try a 0-60 timed run. Backed out into the center turn lane and took off. I don't know why but I freaked and let up before I hit 60. lol. Then I saw a cop coming from the other direction. I don't know if he had saw me take off like that if I would have gotten ticketed for excessive acceleration. I got a warning for it once in my V6 for accidently squealing the tires. He asked "Ma'am, are you in a hurry?" l:lol:

Love the truck which is parked on your rear bumper...I hate it when folks do that.

As long as they don't get next to me I'm fine haha. I've become an expert at hugging curb parks to give the other person an extra foot of "door whipping open" room. My girlfriend even looks for curb parks now haha.

I was driving to the framing store to pick up a print and saw this yellow Iacocca edition parked at Rony's car pros. So sweet in person.

Very sharp! I've seen a silver one for sale for the past like year, and the silver just looks so much classier.

Gave her a bath even though it might rain tomorrow. Couldn't stand seeing her filthy anymore.

I like the stripes....follows the hood contours very well.

Too much black on the hood IMO, but the stripes help.

Johnny Stang 11/1/13 07:31 PM

Should I stripe the scoop? Follow it up....mind u the rear of the car has it too

I'm sorry but I don't like either the scoop, black paint, or stripe.

Stage_3 11/2/13 09:33 AM

I do like the hood scoop, but not crazy about the stripe.

Not crazy about the scoop, but for some reason the pinstriping reminds me of a 1st-generation Mustang, or of a car from that era. Have no idea why.

It's groovy . I dig it.
