Never been a fan of a 70 Torino body style personally but my husband would take one in a heartbeat. Although, he'd still prefer a 68-69 Torino CJ!

Crabs would have been better than a PA breakfast sammich! Don't be jealous but we are getting crabs tomorrow
It's actually faster than going into MD...it was 11.5 hours, but Virginia never seems to end!

I wasn't close enough to the bay to trust seafood unfortunately...lol. I need to make another trip up to MD at some point to pick up parts, so I'll see about getting some then. I just ran out of the gulf seafood I stocked up on when I was in Pensacola last November...guess I need to buy more next time.

Everything and everyone has gone crazy. We have a park nearby in Springville, AL that has a bunch of these Furries running around. I told my wife we would go over there and walk but I'm taking a water bottle with me and I'm going to squirt them and say "Bad dog" or "Bad Kitty".

Thank you very, very much everyone. We truly appreciate the kind words and kind gestures.
Knowing she is with God now, does make it a bit easier. I will miss her terribly though.

God bless you all.
Thank you again.

Well guys and gals, had my 3 month follow-up exam today with my urology specialist... The bad news is 5 new tumors have been found, however, the good news is they are low grade this time around, unlike the previous 7 from last year which were high grade cancer...

Anyhow, my next biopsy surgery is scheduled for this upcoming July 25th to remove the tumors by cauterization... In the meantime, I'll continue to follow-up and provide updates following the surgery...

-Rocky

Correction: My next biopsy surgery is scheduled for next week on June 25th

Geez, how do they stop these tumors from re-occuring? Is there anything you can do, from diet to medication?

Hi Dave! As I posted earlier, this time around the tumors are low grade cancer rather than high grade compared to last year... As far as I know, the only treatments for preventing early stage bladder cancer are BCG treatments ( Bacillus Calmette-Guerin) which I began last year... I've attached links that explain in more detail... https://my.clevelandclinic.org/healt...-bcg-treatment https://www.healthline.com/health/bl...bladder-cancer

If the BCG treatments are not successful, then the next steps are chemotherapy/radiation and in the worst case scenario, surgical removal of the bladder if chemotherapy is not successful...
But just knowing the tumors are early stage/low grade cancer as opposed to the early stage/high grade tumors from last year is a major improvement...

So hopefully, once I begin the next round of BCG treatments following the completion of my upcoming biopsy surgery next week, the tumors won't come back at all...

Therefore, I continue to remain cautiously optimistic...

-Rocky

Thank you, Steve! Like you just said, low grade vs high grade is a positive in all this... Hopefully, this upcoming surgery will finally get rid of these things for good...

In the meantime, I can't thank you all enough for standing behind me which has been able to help keep me thinking positive and feeling optimistic...

Needless to say, I appreciate each and everyone of you more than you'll ever know...

Just a quick follow up from last week... My biopsy surgery on yesterday was successful and the results are much better than what was originally thought during the follow-up exam from last week...
It appears that only 3 small low grade tumors required being cauterized/removed as opposed to 5 that were previously detected from last week... Therefore, it does appear that the BCG treatments have been working, as this is indeed a major improvement and very good news, to say the very least...

Meanwhile, my next follow-up appointment is in 6 weeks and will also resume BCG maintenance treatments at that time as well... In the meantime, I can't thank everyone enough for standing in my corner during these past 11+months for all your support and for all your prayers, as your support has what's kept me thinking positive and feeling optimistic during this entire ordeal...

So once again, I just want to say thank you for being there for me and I will follow-up once again in 6 weeks...

-Rocky
