Don't over look Rock Island Armory. They have some awesome guns. So far mine has been flawless. About 200 rounds through it, with 0 misfires or jams

I saw one of those today. Like an Officers. Looked like a 3" barrel. It was nice blue, wood stocks, and in the $4's IIRC. Felt great in the hand.

These RIAs are bulletproof Mines at over 1500 rounds now with two stovepipes as the only problems I've ever had.

I like the Springfields, my cousin uses one as his on-duty weapon and its nice, but its just so hard to argue with the price of the RIA. If I were getting a mroe expensive one though, it would probably be the Ruger
