I have the same though....there is only the one car she hates and didn't like me buying but even then she didn't say No....although I sometimes wish she had...because I hate the car too...LOL.

With me, I am in the business so it's a little different than others who just want to stack cars in the yard...I have an excuse But I do keep her in cool cars without car payments. She has decided she wants an Aston Martin Vantage or an Audi R8....I think I created a monster out of someone who was never into cars to start with 
There are quite a few who do think like that but most guys aren't good at finding them
My approval really isn't needed, to be honest. We have joint accounts for the household bills and joint savings. Other than the house and our property in VA, we don't have anything else jointly. We don't even have joint credit cards.

Hot dogs, hamburgers, steaks etc. are grilling, not BBQing.
Its blasphemy in the South to tell people you are having a BBQ if you're planning on cooking burgers and dogs on the grill. That's a cookout.

Me too. If it weren't for the fact that I'd weigh 400lbs, I could eat bbq everyday. Pulled pork shoulder, ribs, whole chickens, brisket, turkey legs, burnt ends, you name it, I'm down for bbq anytime. Pork variants are my favorite though.

You'll overlook the heat when you don't smell garbage in the air. Actually so far the best cooked meat I have had was at Chaps Charcoal Restaurant in Baltimore
