Tried to take some more pics the other day but they look washed out and the color doesn't show correctly because the sun was so bright. Trying to find a decent one.

Took mine up to my wife's sister's cabin. Less than a 3 hour drive up north. Paved winding mountain road most of the way. At the time the car was only a year or two old. Forecast was sunny and hot. Not a chance of rain in the area forecast for as far as they predict. Bright blue skies and not expected to change. Typical July/August weather around here. We were only staying one night. Quit trip, returning the next day.
On the way back, maybe an hour on the road, we catch a thunder storm. Cloud burst, rain comes out of no where. Serious down pour. I am just freaking out and waiting for the huge rain drops to turn into hail. After about 20 miles the rain quits, just like someone turned off a faucet. No hail, thank God! So it happens to all of us. That is if we put any miles on the car. The cars will survive, they don't shrink, but I do not like the mess it makes in the engine bay and undercarriage. Hard to clean-up. Don't want to do that in this car again. Daily's no issue, but not the Mustang!
Love your Beast of a car. Just the right color scheme. One I would order for my self! Awesome car!

Thanks I really do appreciate your kind words! (Even though mine is not even close to being in the same league as your GT500!)

My oil changes on the Boss are about $150 which is crazy in my opinion!

why not change the oil yourself; is there something special or hard about it for those cars?

Plus, it was just worth it to me not having a lift. I could do that, but jacks and stands are out for me now on a car this low . The Shelby tech at the dealer did it. Labor was only $35, rest was 12 quarts and a cartridge which was the same price I was going to have to pay for it. I'll give 35 bucks any day to keep out from under it.

Really wish I could get a pic of this car that truly shows how vivid and eye popping it is in the sun. They all look washed out and don't transfer the color at all. Need a better camera and some software I guess.

Thanks Gary.
Thanks Bert. That's one of the reasons I posted those, the ones in the sun that day were terrible. Just have to keep experimenting with it.
I think the lighting is the problem; try some out in full sun with no partial or mottled shade; with the sun behind you when you take the photo, but at an angle so your shadow is not in the photo

My Redfire GT/CS Was Spectacular in The Sun! Taking Pics Never Did Justice to It! I Feel Your Pain!
The Worst Thing For Me Taking Pics are Chrome & Shiny Parts For Ebay. Oh The Pain! Had a Ton of NOS Vintage 1950's Hubcaps a Few Years Back & Took Forever to get Decent Pics!
