Pueblos', and Petroglyphs were the reason for this road trip
We just returned from the Flagstaff area, with stops along the way to see some petroglyphs, and pueblo's. My wife is Cherokee (her Grand Father was Chief of the Eastern Band), and she wanted to visit some of the Native American ruins, so off we went. We decided to pick up Route 66 in Miami, OK to see a friend and have dinner with her, then head further off west. Of course we took her Mustang. Doing Route 66 in a converitble is so much fun.
Our friend Beth Hilburn, owner of the Hi Way Cafe in Vinita, OK. Her, and her Husband have renovated a vintage motel next door, and wanted a couple old rotary phones to complete the look. I've collected many over the years, so we took her some phones and had lunch at their restaurant.
