Actually, the grille is the best bit for me. Always like these billet grilles on the S197
As for them going under. Their financial situation was similar for the whole of last year, so I'm hoping they make it.
FWIW, the Black Label is coming in March, and that has many more changes over the stock S550. We've seen the yellow/gold renderings, but I pulled this one off their website

Hate to keep bringing this up Paul ! But there isn't going to be a reveal and here's another reason for being skeptical.. You recall the original reveal date was scheduled for February 20th right ? However the reveal date has since been rescheduled for March 20th instead.. Therefore this addresses my suspicions even more so that Saleen is that much closer to oblivion
However, I'm rooting for them and hope they make it. Steve's been in the game a long time and the Mustang world would be poorer without him and his company.
Lets see what the 20th March brings (if anything)
Edited to add the link about the 1 month delay.......

I don't agree. I think the window trim looks forced and takes away from the clean, "pillarless" look of the S550. The wheels are okay, but yeah the "Heritage" wheels just don't look as good as some others on these cars. I think the grille looks like a cheap T-Rex/MMD grille from CarID or AM... the 10-12 Saleen bar grille was beautiful. This is poop.

I'm sure their financial situation has much to do with it......there was a press release (can't remember where I saw it) that explained they "wanted to do this right", hence the one month delay but, I too, am skeptical.
However, I'm rooting for them and hope they make it. Steve's been in the game a long time and the Mustang world would be poorer without him and his company.

Hey Rocky
I did read it (and other similar articles around that time). It doesn't look good, does it?
However, I will stick my head firmly in the sand and trust that they'll pull through
