Roush Scoop - how flush to the surface?

I'm looking at a 2015 Roush Stage 2 and it has the scoop on it but it appears that it is sitting too high off the hood surface.

Can you post some pics of your scoop to hood engagement? Here's what this one looks like:

I don't have a 2015, but it looks very similar to the hoodscoops on the 2014s. Appers to be designed this way. Here is my 2014: Attachment 170638

Hood scoop is supposed to be flush!
Just do a google search and see for yourself.

On the '15, the Roush scoop sits between the two spears on the hood.........so from the side, at least, you won't tell if it's flush or not.

I'm on the fence about the scoop but when I saw the gap between the hood and the bottom of the scoop I thought something has to be wrong.

Of course, the dealer says they are all that way. Hmm....

Ok, so I went back to the dealer this weekend. Apparently, the 'gap' is an optical illusion from the picture and lighting because I checked it again and the hood is definitely snugly fit and flush to the lower edge of the scoop. Here are the pics again... I have really zoomed in to show you what I'm talking about.

Here is the first one I noticed the 'gap' in...

But when I went back and looked closer, there is no gap at all. It is an illusion in the picture. The scoop sits tightly on a thin strip of the 3M Double Sided tape.

Yup, that is exactly how my scoop is too, the shadows exaggerate the edges of the scoop. The reason I said it was designed that way on the 14s, but I wasn't 100% sure about the 15s as I have not seen one in person yet.

All of the Roush cars at the dealership by our house have the hood scoops peeling up the corners by the windshield. It looks like the scoop is flatter than the hood and the tape can't hold these corners down.
