I just picked up my new 2020 GT 10spd auto today (unfortunately due to health reasons I can daily stick but I'd definitely love one)and I was thinking about getting a Lund or SCT tuner etc. I watched video on the ghost cam tune and it said not great for auto as a daily i wanted to know if anyone has actually done this yet and if so on an auto, just curious how much of a pain it really is as daily etc. Thanks for any info you may have, been along time since I had a Mustang.

 

Wanting / needing an aftermarket tune is usually the result of mods, what's your end goal for the car ??

If the only reason your looking into a tune is due from the 10 speed auto? I would wait until you do some mod upgrades first in order to fully benefit from the tune. You may also want to consider upgrading to either 3:73 or 4:10 gear ratio if you really want a noticeable difference compared to stock, especially on an auto trans. Meanwhile, as far as tuners are concerned? I would select VMP performance tuning over Lund, but that's just my opinion. Anyhow, if interested? here's a link for VMP's website below.
