US 6 speed?
US 6 speed?
Looking at a new 2021 GT, the content sticker says "US" for both the engine and the transmission. I thought the 5.0 was built in Canada and the 6 speed transmissions in China? Can someone confirm they are US produced?

I can't be sure, information is not as prominent as you'd think. What you say is apparently correct though in doing them searches.
That said... curious as to why it'd matter? The Mustang is about as 'all American' as a Tundra is these days, with parts made in and from just about everywhere in the world, backed by Ford Motor Company North America's engineering and warranties, and any OEM or OEM replacement parts are under the same manufacturing scenario, albeit with different companies perhaps as the car ages. Not sure where they're made makes any difference any more at this point...
Just a thought on my end though...

The MT82 is the standard 6 speed manual. The GT350 and the new Mach 1 both get the Tremec. The gear ratios in the MT82 are the same from 2011 thru 2017, only 6th. gear is overdrive. The ratios were changed from 2018 to the present and both 5th. and 6th. are overdrive. Personally I think the earlier transmission has better ratios.
So, with no answer on whether or not the 6 speed is a US produced unit for 2021 models, I'll ask the question another way.
Can anyone confirm the origin country of their transmission from earlier models, 2014 thru 2020? Its well documented that these were produced in a Getrag plant in China. Did the content sticker on these vehicles bought new specify "China?"
