Something different with those ugly rear clipers

I did not like the looks of my rear calipers on my 2018 PP1 GT so I tried these. I sanded the logo off and cut them to fit lower like the OEM ones would.

That looks really good, but more information would be nice. Are they covers? I've read on another forum some people also paint the calibers as well.

I ordered some low cost ebay caliper covers (less then 10 bucks) and sanded the "Brembo" logo off of them. Then cut them to fit the rear factory calipers. Once I was happy with the fit I painted them to match my front calipers. I can walk anyone thru it if they want, just l message me.

Cool. They look good. I have base GT, wondering if those would work. Do you have a link to the product. This is something I may want to do down the road.

just go to ebay and type in "caliper covers" and about a thousand of them will pop up. the one I chose came in two sizes and I paid under ten bucks for them. I used the larger of the two sizes for the rears due to the fact that mine is the PP!. For the STD brake set up I would go with the kit that has three sizes and used the large one for the fronts and the Med for the rears.

I've saw those on Ebay my friend, but I never thought of using them this way. Dang good idea sir, and they do look better. Heck, they're cheap enough to replace if you decide you want another color. If possible how about a DIY write up in this thread. I'm in.......

The rear brakes are exactly the same, V6, EB, GT (base GT and PP). Looks good. I'd do a black brembo sticker on the fronts though. They look so naked without any text.

Didnt know if the GT PP1 had the same rear brakes. Since they do you will want to the two largest sizes you can find, (the largest set for the front and the next size down for the rear)n Also I did ordered a set of decals but they were too small and didnt look right. I just ordered a set of 5" black. When they get here I will be installing them.

Looks good. The color compliments Royal Crimson nicely! Did you take the yellow tint off the fogs? I would now. Do amber tint on them! From Lamin-X

Well shoot. Just ordered a set. We'll see how they look. Never have liked the looks of those MGP ones. Especially for their price. Been considering painting mine, but seems like a lot of work. And taking it to someone else to paint seems like it would be a lot.

Ten bucks. I'm down to experiment.

I see they say to use silicon to glue them on. What did you use? Guessing my bathroom silicon won't do.

Lasered, I did remove the yellow tint from the park/fog light and put a med. charcoal tint on the park light section only. That mellowed the light the perfect amount for me. Thanks for noticing that.

Woody I used high temp RTV. Only put it on the caliper main body and not the bracket. The caliper body must be able to "float" in the bracket. Message me and I will assist you in any way.

I know the guy that started this company. He was one of the first to release any kind of these emblems for the S550s.

Here's a possible dumb questions. This is my first car with the computer monitored tire PSI. With that, can you just pull off the tire? Are there any wires, or anything that need to be taken care of?

Also, say I want to rotate the tires, does the system know when the tires move?

Only just thought about this as I'm sitting at the dealer right now patching a nail.
