Which order for these 2 mods?
I will eventually do both mods, but can only afford to add 1 at a time. So, what is your opinion on which mod I should do first:
1. GT 350 intake manifold.
or...
2. Long tube headers w/ cats.
Price is not a consideration since both mods cost nearly the same.
Thanks.

Increased efficiency (i.e. better breathing) primarily for the track, but there will be improvement on the street as well.
Horsepower with the stock Coyote intake falls significantly just after peak HP is achieved. The GT 350 intake and throttle body responds much better above 7K RPMs without sacrificing low end torque in the process.
Since I'm getting more air in I need to get more out, so a set of 1 7/8 in. headers is also on the menu.
Together, with a good tune, there is a significant bump in HP and TQ.

Since the GT 350lets more air in then I would do the Headers first. That will give you better top end then get the intake. But as I learn the Performance of these Fords a good tune will make it all work.

What RPM rage is the S550 good to out of the box? You cane do 8250 like the 350, but is something like 7500 safe without changing pistons or rods?
My coyote runs up to 7100, and that's as hard go as I'm comfortable with it.
