Electrical/grounding
 

2000 Mustang convertible GT 6 cylinder. Dash lights and numbers go blank when I hit the brake or turn but the car doesn't lose any power. Wires under the hood seem to be old and loose touching metal and other things. And something seems to be wrong with the idle. This is my first Mustang I just like any advice please.
