ECM Reset after mods.

I have a '16 GT. Recently installed a fresh air kit and Ford Perf by Borla cat back mufflers. I have not installed a new tune via OBD port. Is there a process to reset the ECM for these 2 added mods, and what is the process to do so? Without a hand held tuner, or a new tune program. Thanks

You have to use a hand held tuner to upload a new tune. There is nothing you can set manually. Chances are no change required for the mufflers. I don't know what the fresh air kit includes so it may or may not require a tune.

I suggest you talk with Steeda and get their recommendations. They build good, safe tunes based on your modifications. Even a minor tuning program can make a noticeable difference.

You can reset the PCM by disconnecting the battery for a minute or 2.
