Shaker subwoofer issue

Hi ppl,
I have a '16 GT in rhd configuration in India, the stock cars here come equipped with the 9 spkr premium shaker audio, I have sourced the original shaker sub as fitted to the shaker pro units, along with the coupling cable that connects the sub to the coupler available in the trunk where the sub is mounted, but.... Nothing happens... no sound from the sub... tried to update the audio at the dealership.. Still no dice, the dealership system shows sub enabled.. The cables show power and ground... whats wrong here... will be grateful for any and all advice... thanks

I not much on electronics my friend, but I'll ask a simple question. Have you went to the audio settings to reset them. Hopefully it's that easy. I wish I could help more.

2 questions: 1) Are you sure the sub is hooked up to the radio head unit? If it's not then the sub won't be connected to anything and may be a reason why you are not getting any sound. 2) Are you sure the unit is getting power? You may have to get a hold of a wiring diagram to see if the sub is getting power. If the unit is not powered, again it will not produce any sound. Also, can you post pics of your connections? It would help a great deal if I could see what is hooked up and where as well as all the connections to see if your missing something. I've installed numerous audio systems in vehicles and homes and I'd love to find out what's causing your troubles.
