Bama tune

Ok, so here's the deal. I drove an ecoboost with the Bama tune a couple weeks ago and WOW! I really want this for my car but have warranty concerns. Only because I sit at 1500 miles. Part of me says to wait......but after driving one, I want it now

Thoughts......

It's a gamble. If you blow something up you need to be prepared to pay. I have the Cobb tune and just said F it it's worth it. The base tunes are safe. I went with Cobb since they have a better tuner in the Accesport device and have many more years of tuning 4 cylinder turbo cars vs. Bama who has 1 year under their belt.

2015 - At the end of the day it's really going to come down to you and how comfortable you are - Bama is totally transparent about this along with any other tuner that if you're putting a tune on the car you're likely going to void your warranty but pending the dealer and how mod friendly they are they make just look the other way.

Cobb makes a great product and they've had their Focus Tunes out for a few years now and (once many centuries ago I had an STI with a host of goodies from them, good guys) Bama's got some great talent here - Their new lead makes power and lives to tune (Even on his honeymoon, we can't get him away from his customers he's always in touch day or night) Being in the position I'm in as well I'm used as a guinea pig for all of their tunes. From V6 to GT500 I have a lot input along with criticism that goes into their tunes as I've had many, many different cars with different setups. We aim to please here.

Being said you just crossed 50 posts. You're now eligible for our Forums Discount code and I left it in your PM's. Any questions at all drop me a line I'm always around to help out! Side-note here's what some of Bama's EcoBoost Customers are saying about their X4 Tunes:

How much did that run ya? Did you already have a device, and just bought a tune? Or did you have to purchase a device that came with the tune?

I have an sct tuner device, but the only tunes I have are the ones I fabricate myself, and was wondering how much just a tune file would run my from bama, or any other that will be compatible with my sct

Oh ok, I was trying to figure out how much it would cost me just for a tune file... I contacted sct, and requested some info on it, so maybe they will get ahold of me within the next few days..

AM's website will tell you what a single tune costs or tunes for life. Tunes for life is your best bet.
