mustang 2015 v6 coolant leak
 

hi everyone
im supper new to everything i had my car for 3 weeks its a second hand and has 32k m on it it was in the parking for 2 weeks and driving around all fine but out of no where it started to leak like crazy and then stooped again ? i took it to dealer and they say there is nothing wrong with it ?! lucky i was able to record it on my phone but when the car was up there was no evidence of any leak so i was wondering what could cause it ? the coolant must be leaking from somewhere right ? but where ? whats the most common point of failure on these cares

one thing i want to mention that might have some relation with it , i had to jump start the car and i saw this leak after that is there any relation ?

the other thing is the car has a very rich gas smell coming out of the exhaust what can cause that ? the dealer said cause the car wasnt used for a long time , but to be honest i dont really trust any of them

also do i have to change the transmission fluid [its the auto one ] ? the dealer said no but i was reading its kinda recommended to change it for the first time after 30k and then every 60k with the filter ?

p.s they cheked the computer and everything was fine

Changing your tranny fluid and filter at this time would be considered preventative maintenance.That way you can log your first fluid change and change again at the 32k mileage interval. You can also have have your coolant changed out having your system purged of the old fluid. You'll have a fresh cooling system that will give you some assurance during the winter ahead.
Your rich gas smell could be older gasoline. Jam it with a full tank and put in a can of some fuel system cleaner. Don't buy the cheap stuff because it has mostly solvent.

You live in Hungary? Looks like you got sold a piece of crap by your dealer. I would be trying to get my money back if I were you.

Hello, I have the same problem, sometimes leak sometimes does not, sometimes when I put more coolant, leak from the disposal, sometimes from a different location....let me know how you fix it

2016 w 23K miles, noticed some coolant in a couple locations cowl area on the garage floor. Thought hum, heater core? Carpet is dry and no Oder in the car w heat on full blast.

There was a small drip this am under the left CAT. Ah ha, looks like it’s coming from the left bank coolant tube where it plugs into the rubber hose quick connect. There is a rubber o-ring in there (7Z4T-8527-A). I’m guessing it’s somewhat degraded. But need to observe it a bit longer to make sure.


The puzzling part is how the largest puddle was under the right side of the car.
