2016 Guard with Factory O-T-T Stripes
 

Here are some pics of Guard with the optional 47A / 85X Ebony Over-the-Top Stripes ...

Looked at over 100 Guard window stickers looking for this option and finally found one on the ground where the dealer took pics of the actual car.

The 2 GT pics are not the best, but were the only ones you could see the stripes. The EB pic is one I found more recently on an Ecoboost forum, and is much better.

Ordered my base 100A EB in Guard with these stripes on 02/11 ... hope to see it in April.

Interesting enough (per the Order Guide), they don't offer the Silver O-T-T stripes on Guard !!


Silver stripes only on Black, and available on DIB, Magnetic, Race Red or Ruby Red (last 4 colors can also have Ebony stripes).


Guard, CO, Silver & White get Ebony only.

I'm usually not a fan of stripes, but love that combo. Had a chance to get a base gt ruby red with the black stripes, but didn't like them on it for some reason. About the only other combo I think I would like would be black with gold stripes. I may be out of luck in getting a guard as I'm having trouble finding a prem auto gt in my budget. I did find a loaded 15, but they don't seem to be willing to take too much off it yet. I found a 16 magnetic at a good price, but not to sure if I like the color...even though I like my gray. IDK, I may have to settle for a manual or base gt if I want a guard or may just wait awhile and get another color like race red, white, silver or black.

I almost pulled the trigger on a Guard GT in 2015. I went to the coin toss and Ruby Red won.
