These cars need 20 inch wheels. I saw the 2018 at the Chicago Auto Show and the wheels looked so small, I couldn't believe they were 19s, and that just one inch makes such a big difference.

If I Were Doing The Roof Removal I Would Use a Dremel Tool With a Cutoff Wheel! I Use One All The Time on My Faux Gas Cap Work. Real Easy To Handle. Might Want to Practice on a Junk Model First Though To get The Feel For it! After Cutting, a Small Roll Sander About 600 Grit Bit For Fine Tuning on Same Tool!

I Would Add, Use Some Good Masking Tape & Draw Cut Line. Cut in Middle of Tape. Needs To Be The Good 3m Green Tape Not The Thin Crepe/ Easy Release Cream Color or Blue Type Which Will Just Come Off. It Will Help Keep Paint From Chipping So Much and Give you a Guide. As I Said May Want To Practice. Could Cut a Rectangular Type Section Out of Middle First To See What Works Best. To Cut Curves The Cutting Wheel Just Needs To Be Barely Through. Be Mindful Over What is On Other Side of What You Are Cutting!
I Have Not Built The Old Style Plastic Model in 40 Years Which is Similar Work But in Plastic But Certainly Built a Lot Back Then! Still Actually Have a Couple From Back Then I Built To Duplicate The 68 & 70 Chargers I Owned Back Then. By Some Miracle They are Completely Intact!
