Your attention to detail throughout the entire build has been heroic, thanks again for documenting the build. Would you say all in, with the additional quality control and peace of mind measures you've taken, one would be looking at 10 to 11k for the same setup before labor? I know it's in bad taste to ask such a question, as I mentioned before I've been considering this route for awhile and I'd also want to take extra precautions to make sure once completed, it's as buttoned up as possible so I'm wondering in the end what I'm looking at cost wise. Thanks again!

$11K would get you in the ballpark with what I have done. $8K for Turbo kit + Blankets etc... $2K for fuel system. $900 for injectors. $100 for misc stuff. Maybe a few hundred more for the catch can set up. Also add in exhaust midpipe and cat back if you would like to add that. Not necessary though. I did save a lot by doing all the labor myself.

Figured I would give an update. Car is running Great! I am extremely happy with how the car has performed and how well the kit is made.

Here is another quick video I made with a different mic mount.

End of 2017 Update. Finally had a chance to dyno the car. Set the boost controller to 10 psi and went to 6800 RPM's or so.

Time to pull the motor while it's still in one piece and swap in an Aluminator and turn the boost up! Stay tuned.

Impressive numbers! Good idea to swap out now while the current engine is still good.

Ok. Update. Ended up going with a Gen2 Aluminator and had to swap intake cams and timing components from a 2011-2014 because they are different. Also added a billet cam gear to go along with the billet oil pump gear that came with the engine. Also upgraded the trans throughout. (Stage 2 clutches, Billet Intermediate Shaft, Upgraded bearing supports, etc.

Made some pulls based on my boost settings. Order goes 6.5 psi (Gate Pressure) 9.5 psi, 11.2 psi, 14.5 psi and 19 psi.

yowsa wowsa indeed!

I hope it holds together long enough to get a few runs on the strip . . . hopefully a lot longer than that, it sounds like you really built it right

It should. It has all the right parts. I will most likely keep it in the 850-900 range to keep it happy.

Plan is to get to the track once it opens and see if I can crack 9's on the 20" wheels leaving off the foot brake.
