Chevy boy converted! Just got a '11 GT/CS
Boy oh boy, where do I start?
Obviously I love this coyote motor. It sure is an impressive piece from where I'm from(LS\Chevy Big Block). I gotta say, I love having this California Special trim, being that I was born and raised in California.
So far, I have added hood struts, gloss black 5.0 emblems, a JLT oil separator and GT500 axlebacks. I'm still contemplating on a tune, as the #8 issue makes me a bit nervous. I even bought the GT/CS COA from Ford Racing. Anyways, here are some pictures.

Thanks fellas, I appreciate it. I never thought I'd ever own a Mustang, but these things are sweet. Hopefully I get it back from the dealer tomorrow so I can take it around some corners
#8 issue has been resolved by many tuners such as STEEDA, AED, http://www.midatlanticperformance.ne...-packages.html
I don't know much about AED but I know the steeda tune is very good. Very drivable with plenty of punch. No need for all those gimmick race tune or hybrid tune. One steeda tune has it all, as it should. And you get tunes for life. 😊
I was raised on GM. But after owning a few real clunkers from the 80's Ive been a ford or honda guy since on newer cars. I always had a stable of 60's -70's GTO's.
Sold them all off after reading about the Coyote motor. I wanted old school muscle with todays saftey features being I have a child.
In my mind these are the best mustangs ever made.

The only drawback is that you lose the 5.0 badges.
You would be surprised at how many folks ask what's under the hood. Some even ask if it's a GT.
I'm keeping mine original but the OPs car looks pretty awesome too. Your call.
I personally think the stripe is the CS's identity. The only drawback is that you lose the 5.0 badges. You would be surprised at how many folks ask what's under the hood. Some even ask if it's a GT. I'm keeping mine original but the OPs car looks pretty awesome too. Your call.
No Ricers have tried yet. Other GT's wave...
To the point, because the CS doesn't have the fogs in front or the 5.0 badges people think it could just be a sporty V6 and not a GT.
If I remember, the MCA has the same looks?
You read my mind. I just bought this car in January. Long story short, every V6 stang on the block tries to run me. Wtf? No Ricers have tried yet. Other GT's wave...
