2014 GT/CS NAV SCREEN FOGGY
I had a JVC head unit with Apple CarPlay sitting around after my wife totaled her 2005 Saturn it was installed in. I purchased an installation kit from Crutchfield and installed in in my '13 in place of the factory nav unit. The Maestro box in the kit plugged into my laptop and I programmed i to function with the steering wheel controls and was even able to assign how the buttons on the original face plate would function. Cool thing is that now on the radio, I can pull up the tire pressure screen and see each wheel's pressure instead of guessing which one has a problem when the dash light comes on. It also has a climate control screen as well that works similar to the original. There's also a gauges screen but other than showing fuel remaining as a percentage, it is not much value added. If I decide to sell the car or want to go back to stock, it will be easy since no factory wires were cut.
