Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ road noise
The Michelins on my '07 GT are now 2 years old with about 10,000 miles on them. Properly aligned with no unusual wear. A newly paved section of highway yields loud road noise from these tires at higher speeds of 50+ mph. Not noticeable on most other road surfaces. I have the same tires on my C6 (just over 1 year old) and no noise on the same surface. I'm wondering if it might be age related. If it is, not good. Having two sets of tires that may age poorly is not what I paid or hoped for. These were not cheap. Incredibly good tires otherwise, from handling to driving in the rain. Anyone have any similar road noise or experience with these tires?
