Tire recommendations 2013 V6

Hello, I am new to the mustang experience and wanting to expand my knowledge. Looking for tire recommendations. I do not plan to race just looking for street performance and cool looks. My stang will not be driven during winter. I plan to upgrade CAI and exhaust as well. Thanks for your comments in advance!!

I'd advise to read through the site. There's a new wheel/tire thread every week or so. Which wheels do you have?

I currently have michelin P215/65 R17 tires.

My 2014 has the same tires on it and I've taken it on road trips and run autocross with it. Highway mileage has been great and I now have over 36K miles on the tires. I expect to put the same tires on it when the time comes for new ones. I believe the 65 series side walls help absorb road impact and make the ride more comfortable and I'm not such a wild and crazy autocross driver to have had any problems there. I just pump them up to about 42 PSI and let her rip.

Thanks for your comment.

Michelin tires are know to provide good grip and mileage yet a bit pricey. If you're on a budget, check out the Conti's.

I went with the Falken Azenis 255/40ZR19 and I will buy a new set this year. For the price they are very predictable grip, good treadwear and nice look. You don't see much Stang with Falkens except for those doing drift like Vaughn Gittin Jr and his RTR, so thumbs up for the Falkens.

Thank you.
I see the mods you have done, nice. Did you only consider Borla axle-backs?
Also did you only consider the airaid CAI?

Corsa sport axle backs are VERY nice if you're looking to stay pretty quiet but want a much better sound.

Depending on what you plan on doing with the car, like different wheels or stay with the OEM 17's.
Mine came with 255/40 19's and I went up to a 275/40 19 and went from my stock 19x8.5 wheel to a 19x9. I am also running a summer only Continental Extremecontact DW summer only tire.
