sr lowering springs for 2014 gt vert anyone??
Wanting the SR lowering springs for my new toy a 14 GTCS Vert. I hear the coupe styles will work but will sit lower. Anyone with some first hand experience? Want to take advantage of the AM sale.
Thanks |
For the money they are decent. Not a drastic drop. I had eibachs on my old setup and I felt that those were better. Anything is better than the stock springs though.

Thanks for the info

They might sit a tad lower because of the vertible hardware and bracing back there. I had eibachs and had a couple spacers added to maintain some rake.

I have Eibach Pros on my '14 GT vert...roughly a 1" drop. No other suspension mods. Difference in ride quality is only slightly stiffer, and just a minor camber tweak was needed.
|
Thanks was also looking at the Eibach Sportsline, should be the 1.5 drop with those.

then you will need camber bolts or plates for sure. The eibachs don't come standard with them so be sure to order some.
p.s. consider a panhard bar too, otherwise your rear wheels will sit a touch off-center |
There are the Steeda sport springs too!
http://www.steeda.com/steeda-mustang...ings-555-8220/ I installed these springs in my driveway and the installation was pretty straight forward. The drop my car got was perfect. The ride quality these springs give for a lowered vehicle is outstanding, well worth the price!!
