spring thing again
2012 gt premium 6mt,Brembo i have koni orange with gt500 mounts and ready for springs, its an everyday driver and i,m looking for no more than 1.5 drop, i have it pretty much between bmr sp009 or sr springs as they are both progressive wound and have heard good things about them and they give a 1.5 drop fr and rr. Anyone running this combo or can i get at least three people to agree on the same springs! lol Frpp k springs anyone??

I'd say go with Steeda. I have Sports which drop 1" and 1.25" rear. Good, firm linear and no noises or issues otherwise. Spring rate is not too firm at 200lbs/in front and 175lbs/in rear, but firm enough for the track with Koni Yellows.
You could also go Ultralights which drop 1.25" front and 1.5" rear.

Happy to help with the Steeda springs ... our springs are engineered & manufactured to our specs & we have done many hours of testing on & off the track.
You won't be disappointed!
Best Regards,
TJ

Maybe TJ can chime in. I don't think so. The front spring rate is just a touch different at 195lbs/in. Not anything you can feel. So I think drop is the only main difference.

TJ will probably have you talk to one of their suspension guys to see what you want to accomplish and they will make recommendations based on likes, dislikes, and desired use of the car. They laid out a 3 part upgrade plan for me in the order of preference. They gave me such a good price at the time I did stage 1 and 2. I am just getting to stage 3 two years later as I have had some issues with remaining stock components.

If you're interested, I'm going to have SR springs on Koni Oranges with GT500 mounts available for sale in a couple weeks. Also have un-used set of camber bolts... just throwing it out there, as I'm just waiting for my new springs to arrive to install my new setup.

Just noticed you have the shocks/struts and mounts... nevermind on the above!
You'll like whatever springs you go with as long as they are not too high a spring rate. Most of the options are not that stiff and will work great on the street and occasional track duty if you bring the car out

Just put the steeda sports in today with a whiteline adj p/h bar, first impressions are fantastic!!!!I was so worried about the ride but it actually rides better than stock even over rough roads, stiffer but in a good compliant way, nose dive under breaking is GONE and squat under take off is GONE and the handling is sweet as can be and tight as a drum, the alignment is spot on dead center but i,m getting an alignment anyway just to make sure on monday so they have a chance to settle. next thing is sub frame connecters to stiffen the chassis a little!
