Ok i started this thread to see how many people are putting 20" rims on their stangs and what they look like. I lowered mine 1.6 in the fron and 2 in the rear. I'm looking at getting new shoes soon just wanting to get a few ideas. HERES YOUR CHANCE TO SHOW OFF YOUR WHEELS!!!

 

Foose Nitrous 20"

8.5" up front wrapped in BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP 2-245/35ZR20
10" in back wrapped in BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP 2-275/40ZR20

 

Sorry but I think those look a little to "Gangsta" for a Stang, BUT 20's certainly fill in the wheel wells better than 19's and more so 18's.

They look really aggressive in person, and that's what I love about them. They scream mean to me.

Not at all. It handles great. I can feel that there are 20s on there, but not a big deal.

It's not much of a change my car already has 19's I just upgraded the entire suspension. Yea rides alittle stiffer but I love it. I don't see how going one inch bigger with the wheels would make it ride any worse as long as you got some meat on the wheels lol.

 

Larger wheel usually means shorter sidewall. Shorter sidewall, less flex, usually means more road noise and harsher ride.

 

Here are my 20's, Avant Garde wheels with Hankook tires and of course staggered with 9" on front and 10" on rear. Still have to lower...yes I know
