Question about 10" rims

Hey all,

I have a quick question about the 13-14 mustang. I was curious about the widest tire I can fit in the rear on a 19" or 20" rim. The reason I ask is: a person is selling the following. Niche Targas with Michelin PS2's.
Wheels are 19x8.5 +25mm, and 19x10 +25mm.
Tire size is 255/40/19 on the front and 325/30/19 on the rear.

I haven't talked to the seller, but I was under the impression that a 325 tire would need to be on an 11" rim?

I'm open to running anything from a 305 to 325 on a 19" or 20" rim. Stock ride height for now.

I've been all over the threads and it seems like an 11" forgestar F14 would fit back there. I think American Muscle had a 20" 305 rim and tire.

I don't need to go bigger, but those 325's look MASSIVE! just wondering if they would fit without rubbing or having to roll my fender.

Seems like maybe the 325 wouldn't fit on the 10" rim.
I'm going to take a look on tire rack right now!

Already answered my own question.

Seems like 325's would severely bulge on that 10" rim.

Glad I didn't opt to buy that tire and rim package before I researched it!
He was still asking $2600 anyway.

Im running a 305/35/20 in the rear with Mickey Thompson Street Comp on a 10" rim. Works for me. I wouldn't go any bigger than that though. If you're gonna do 315-325 then stick with 11"-12" rims.

Hey Moe - I would side with Speedwagon on this here and if you're going to be shooting for something that large the biggest I would shoot for a 305/35/20 Nitto - Let me know if you have any questions and if you don't have our Forums Discount code for any reason shoot me a PM and I'll get you set up!

Here are the rims I'm talking about.

I love the fact that they're 325's, but on a 10" rim? Seems like that's asking for trouble.

The offsets on those wheels are way too agressive for your car.

That's all I needed to know!! Saved me from
Spending $2600!

I'll talk to someone at AM maybe and get a set. Or maybe get a set of niche Milans or Targas

The most people go with non-custom offsets is +35 for the front and rear.
