Panhard Bar advice

I had the Spohn adj UCA with the Delrin bearings, a top notch piece of equipment.

I highly recommend the differential bushing be upgraded to a spherical as well. I ran this with the poly upgraded bushing, and it wasn't near strong enough to alleviate the clunking that was the result of a pivot/poly bushing combination. I have paint marks on the bushing housing on the differential from where the uca was hitting it between shifts. I went back to my BMR poly bushing and zero clunking issues.

Moving forward, if I ever track this car I will put the Spohn back on but not without the diff spherical bearing on the diff side at the same time.

a little off topic but will i need a jounce bumper kit when installing steeda sports with my koni str.t gt500 mounts,its a 1" drop in front and a 1.25 in the rear and i,m going to use an adj panhard bar of course. 2012 gt brembo

If your lowering under 1.5 inches, your OEM jounce stops should be just fine.. When lowering at 1.5 inches and beyond, it's then recommended to upgrade to shorter jounce bumper stops..

Or take a box cutter and shorten your existing stops.

i was thinking about getting the jounce bump kit as long as i was doing the springs,but if its a waste then i,ll leave the stockers in as i,m not going lower than 1 in front and 1.25 in the rear

Just as Mustang Dog suggested, you could always just use box cutters to shorten them.. However as I stated earlier, unless you intend to lower your suspension at 1.5 inches and beyond.. You don't need to purchase an aftermarket jounce kit nor cut your "OEM" jounce stops.. As doing so will most definitely be a total waste and unnecessary..

No, I was talking about the Spohn Upper control arm. That is for the Spohn panhard bar.
Which is a very nice piece btw. Myself I would go Spherical/ Spherical for the Panhard bar (even for street use) Maybe a bit noisey but much more compliant. (I have Poly/poly right now and no complaints). But I think the Spherical is definately the upgrade I should have made when I was buying everything at once.

The offset is if you have an aftemarket differential cover, they are a bit Thicker and will sometimes rub on the PH bar depending on your setup, Im going with a PH bar relocation bracket .

The reason for all this information gathering on a bar is I want one that will be quite and be compliant but keep everything tight and aligned.

What I don't like about the Spohn, is it still uses poly bushings that require grease.. The Whiteline PHB on the other hand, includes non-poly C-max bushings that not only reduce NVH noise, but most of all doesn't require grease at all.. That alone would be reason enough for making it my preference in choice over the Spohn or any other PHB for that matter..
