Bilstein B12 Shock and strut kit

I am thinking about the bilstein b12 kit. Has anyone used this, I am trying to find out how much it will actually lower the car by rather than an estimate.

Also what else would be needed to add to the kit? Caster camber plates, adjustable panhard etc?

Good choice on the Bilsteins. I didn't use the b12 kit but used p springs which lowered an inch. Ride is good. You can get a lot of info on the Vorshlag site. Camber plates are not necessary unless going lower or if you want a more negative setting. I used the GT500 mounts which are good enough for a street car. Measure the axle shift after lowering to judge if you need a panhard bar.

Not sure, but doesn't the B12 kit use the Eibach pro kit springs? I too, have been thinking about making the switch to Bilstein. I'm currently on Steeda pro action dampers with Ultralite springs. I would suggest you get the caster camber plates and adj panhard bar too. I have worn out a couple sets of front tires in the last three yrs, because I don't have the plates. I will be adding plates, new springs, shocks & struts later in the year, Bilstein is on the top of my list. Interested to see your results.
