I have decided that I am going to sell the Mistress as soon as possible. Hopefully someone will want to take it off my hands. It's a well optioned car for Track guys. The availability of any Mustang here is slow and far between so I am hopeful. Im retiring from the Army this summer so this is something that is a have to.

Sorry to hear that, have really enjoyed your photos from overseas and seeing a Mustang out of it's usual environment.

Any plans going forward? Maybe a GT-350 waiting for you when you get home?

Thanks for the kind words. I'm leaning towards getting an E90 M3 four door. Eventually anyway when I can pay for it cash. I'm done financing cars. I may build a resto mod Mustang someday. I plan on working in the auto industry when I'm done with the Army. I'm gonna have a detail business of my own on the side.

Just noticed some scoring on my front brakes. Grinding from the front too. Looks like I know what I'm doing when I get off of work today.

Well here are the pictures of the damage that can be done if you cook your brakes and the pads crystalize. I should be ordering new front brake rotors and pads soon. My car is less than 100 miles from hitting 30,000 miles and I'm actually surprised it took this long. All but 7,000 miles have been here in Germany. In the states you won't have this problem as much unless you are trying to track your car with stock parts. Here in Germany it's a different story. This can happen more often just driving around.

Partially cleaned off. This is as clean as I could get them without having them turned. There are a couple spots where there is pitting.

Here's the moral of the story kids. Don't go racing or performance driving without having the proper gear. I should have just bought some race pads for the fun days. I'm not a fan of trying to use "street/race" pads. These were the stock Track Pack(BOSS compound) pads. A proper race pad like the Hawk DTC-60 or 70 would have been a much better option. Get some quality rotors that are SLOTTED and not DRILLED. I'm not sure what heat rating these are good for but I'm sure I went way past it. Stopping a Mustang like this on the Autobahn at triple digit speeds on a regular basis isn't recommended on stock brakes of any sort. A good friend of mine who owns a 2013 GT500 recently upgraded his brakes because of the same issue. He has hit 200mph though.

Yeah, Zto5 I am trying to liquidate some debt before I get off the Gov't train. I don't really WANT to lose the Mustang but I HAVE to in order to be more successful later on. Although if it doesn't sell before I get out I will keep her and someday be as awesome as you. LOL. If she does sell I will eventually get another Euro. I'm leaning towards wither a 135i, 4 door M3, or Z4M coupe. All used of course. It's been a great journey with this car.

I'm still not sold on the new cars. There have been a couple pop up lately at ENCS and I am just not very impressed. The 350/R are pretty awesome cars though. I am going to get back into NASA and SCCA when I get back to SC. I have a good plan for after the Army so I'm hoping my car can come along for the ride but if not I will change it up and do something different.

I have been surfing for late 90's M3's and of course clean used E46 M3's. I like the new 4 series just don't want to spend over 25K since I'm paying cash.

There is something to be said for knowing people in the automotive industry. New Hawk HP Plus pads for the front and rear will be ordered probably tomorrow and I will do an install video for the fronts and rears when I do it. If I don't do a video then I will take s lot of pics and write up a good install for everyone since I haven't seen a sticky yet on it.

Yep she's for sale here in Germany. I'm only asking 27K. 30,ooo miles isn't much. It's one of those have to moments in life. I'm retiring from the Army after 21 years and moving back to the U.S. From Europe so she is on the chopping block. If she doesn't sell I will end up paying out of pocket to ship a vehicle back. And once I get there it will be more difficult to sell so I won't bother. There are big plans for her one day if she doesn't sell.

Always hated only being allowed to ship one vehicle, cost me a couple of Mustangs. I'll pay to ship one back to the mainland from here when I retire. Not too horrible to the West Coast.
