Slowly getting her cleaned up for this year

Hey GHIG gang. It's been a long winter and the poor car and my brain has been cooped up all winter long my buddy was nice enough to give my baby the iron-x treatment. Now it's my turn to claybar, compound and polish her up for spring.
Here are some pics.
Yes it's bleeding the iron out around the badges. Lucky for me the car was very clean to begin with and only spots came out.

wait...what?? this is a thing that can happen on these cars??? Is that rust dripping from the emblem? I hope these cars aren't THAT prone to corrosion!!

Looks great man!
Enjoy. :nice:

Thanks everyone. Seat with wheels! Love that Line! Going to use that on my instagram lol. No the emblem is not rusting. Iron-x removes any brake/rotor fragments embedded in the paint or surface and eats it away. The purple that you see there is the by product showing it's work. :)

oh niiiice. yeah, I've seen that product before! Didn't know that was what it was in the picture.

It has an unpleasant smell to it but does wonders. Of course you will still need to clay the car afterwards.

been meaning to get a hood strut kit for some time now! My old 91 camaro had hood struts from the factory and I was amazed when I found out the mustang didn't.

Thank you. Seen your car IG and its clean as well.

Yeah it is strange that something like this is left out. My old fox was the sMe and I threw on hood struts as well. I see the S550's also lacking the hood struts.
