Looks great. I really like that your stripe actually goes over the front fender. I really hate seeing the stock stripes that end at the hood. Actually prefer the stripes to continue all the way down the front and rear bumpers. But yours looks really nice.

 

Thanks - that's why I got custom stripes. If I wasn't required to have a front license plate they would have gone all the way down. Rear goes down, under the car.

Like the rear pic. Speaking of stripes, I saw a video over at Autoblog of Jay Leno taking delivery of a 2013 Boss 302LS. I noticed that on his car the hood stripe stops at the end of the hood. I thought they at least went over the top of the front bumper.

 

I am required to have a front plate to... However I will be damned if I am going to mount one.. Shhhhhhhhhhhhh!! BTW the car looks hot..

 

Right there with you GreenCars in regards to the front plate. Not a chance in hell is that going on my car.

I've considered taking it off but there will be holes from mounting, not sure what will look worse... I'll look at see. Unlike most of you guys, I didn't order my mustang, my story is a much sadder story...

I really REALLY wanted a boss 302 SBY with the brembo option. Some guy ordered one at my local dealer then backed out of it. IT WAS IN THE SHOW ROOM looking all badass and perfect... my dealer wanted 10k over MSRP and wouldn't budge.

After months and months of my wife dealing with my 13 obsession she agreed to look at the boss when it came in (I had a picture of a SBY boss as a wallpaper since they launched), she agreed the car was amazing but wouldn't approve the 10k over MSRP (I believe they wanted 54k for it). There was the GHIG out in the yard in front of the dealership, it was there for a few weeks.

I KNEW it was there and GHIG was the color I wanted if I was going to get a GT and was about to go in and order one when my wife said (and I quote) - "Go get your god **** mustang and stop bugging me about it). So I traded in my 10 Altima and took ownership of this.

Why the story? Front License plate was already installed when I bought the car... I'll remove it today but I really do not want '5-0' pulling me over as I have a radar detector installed and I know those punks will not be very nice to me once they see the fuzz buster...

Leave it be The holes will look worse. You will also make them bigger by messing with them.

 

ok - so no plugs (like I figured it) - I didn't even take it off, LONG day at work ... I will take it off this weekend just to look, but I assume I'm stuck with the plate ...
