What does it say on your registration?
 

My dealer registered my car as "Black" to avoid any confusion since "LAVA RED" wasn't an option and I might have trouble if my "Red" car was pulled over at dusk/night. Just curious what color is on your registrations?

The right color is on mine. He should have put it down as red seeing how red is closer to lava red than black is :)

Why wouldn't he have just gone with red???

I think because the car looks a lot more black than red. Especially at night/dusk -- You CAN'T tell at night that the car isn't black.

Dark Red. He wouldn't put Black Cherry, which is what I call the car, as it's way closer to the right description than Lava Red.

Just noticed that the little inventory tag on the keyring of mine says 'purple'. :doh:

All the sales staff said they'd never seen a LR.
